Have you ever heard of Sophos antivirus. I had received some bogus Microsoft emails at work the other day and just for fun I clicked on the links in the emails, boy did the computer got trashed. It had over 5000 infected files. What a piece of trash this software is. It took the IT guy half of the day to get the computer running right again.

sophos is a major AV and security company

a web link must have installed a trojan downloader thru active x/scripts

You all should take a hard look at your browser and updates and protection

I just could not help myself. I knew better, I wanted to how much I could trash the computer. For being a large company, you would think that the computers would be better protected. I was not the only one to do this 50 other computers were also infected and these people have no clue. The IT tech had his hands full. I knew better, but wanted to see how bad the computer would be infected. They found out there were 3 or 5 computers with out any antivirus protection loaded on the computer at all.
