Picked me up a Canon SLR digital camera (http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=398352&pCatg=9740) this weekend. Fantastic camera compared to my old Canon point and shoot....lol

Anyone know of some good sites that explain the settings in a little more detail than the manual?

of course you will have to show us your pix now that you're a reader of the post your pic thread :toast:

make yourself familiar with the basics of shutter speed, aperture, dof & co. and keep shooting a couple of hundred pix and you'll learn quickly

and don't hesitate to ask :thumbs_up
