Div3????

ok i have a few divx movies....and i use wmp 8.0 on winxp, and bsplayer. For some reason some of these movies will refuse to work on both players. On wmp it says this format not supported even though i put about 10 different codecs on it already. On bsplayer, it says this "unknown file format (DIV3)". How do i fix this? These movies work on the divx alpha player, but i cant fast forward, rewind, or pause or the movie will restart for some reason. Please help! Thanks.

i tried that....several times. It doesnt even change a thing. I right clicked the .ini file and clicked install, and did the register .exe file, and nothing changed. On the properties of wmp it says video: DivxG400. I tried multiple codecs and i cant get it to change.
