What's the best DVDrom to use to rip and encode AVI's and VCD's?? I know I need a newer dvd for my pc, but I have no idea what's the best to use?:vbouncy:

Why isn't your DVD-player a good one. The only thing you need the player for is to rip the movie?

I have a Creative DVD-Rom and if I can give you one advice: Don't buy it. CRAP!! Access time is too slow.
