Default Unable to open .iso file for editing

First post. I'm new to this game so thanks for having me on board.

I copied my DVD video to hard drive as an .iso file. I wish to remove a 2 min introduction.

When I open the .iso file Title 1 shows in both left and right boxes. I can run the file in bottom left screen but I cannot ID any clips. If I double-click on Title 1 on the right, I get a duplicate Title 1 in the left box. The context menu is not helpful.

Is there a way of opening the .iso file so that I can edit out the introductory nonsense?

I guess there is and I am missing something obvious.

Thanks.
