Default ImgBurn build vs PgcEdit (mkisofs.exe) build

I'm just curious if any one would know why ImgBurn took 45 minutes to build an image file and PgcEdit took only 17 minutes? Both logs are attached. Both image files were set with the seamless flag.
Just curious.

The ImgBurn one seems to have been going C: -> C:, the mkisofs one went C: -> D:.

Thrashing the same drive normally does kill the transfer rate.

I knew that but for some reason I didn't think about it while doing this. My bad! Thanks. Will try C: to D:

Okay, I found the trouble. I defraged the folder this time and created the image file on drive D:
That was the only folder that was fragmented because I do it often.
It was faster than PgcEdit!

It was still very slow though.

If you go drive to drive (and they're different PHYSICAL drives), you should be getting something like 60,000 KB/s average transfer rate, not 7,800 KB/s.
