Plextor 716a firmware upgrade
I recently upgraded the firmware on my burner and when I restarted and made my first backup, instead of burning at max speed (16x), its now burning at 8x. The disks i am using are TDK dvd +R 8x, and Fujifilm dvd+r 8x. Before the update, they burned a movie in 5-7 min, now the take 12-15. Any suggestions?

Was it the 1.06 version you installed?
If it was just Nero you burned with I would have suspected that you where using a demo version that had expired. |

1.06, thats it.
Its not a trial version. All my burn progs now will only burn at the 8x speed as max. Is there a way to roll back the firmware? |
