Angry Can't tell source video

Often I have several versions of the same source video.... for example I'll have an AVI video of my granddaughter. I pass it thru other software to correct color etc. Eventually I might have made 3 or more versions.
Then I make a video using TMPGEnc. After a few months I want to go back and change some things with TMPGEnc. I still have several versions of the AVI source. I need to know which version I used in TMPGEnc. I have not been able to find any way for TMPGEnc to tell me the source. For instance, in source mode, the ribbon on the top tells me everything about the highlighted video EXCEPT where it comes from. So how can I get TMPGEnc to give me this well hidden bit of information please?
