i would like to subtitle some videos in japanese, but when i try to change the list font in divx media subtitler, if i use MS PMincho (a popular japanese font), and try to change the drop-down from "Western" to "Japanese", after i click OK, the change in font doesn't "stick". in other words, it returns to Western and doesn't want to maintain the change to Japanese. the characters in the list therefore remain unreadable, even though i import them from a text file (written in Japanese) and saved in UTF-8 format (i also tried ANSI, just in case, but no luck).
can anyone help me out with that? i'd like to understand what i'm doing wrong or what can be changed to make the change to Japanese hold. thanks in advance for your help with this! * also, does anyone know how to fix a "run-time 380" error for media subtitler? |
