OK Mig$y, grab version 2.03 from the web, here and see if that fixes the problem.
MS now fixes the table (if it can, i.e., if there's enough room to add the missing entry). It fixes the problem on my DVD, but I'd like to see whether it does for you.

Bug in Log??

Any one else get this?

I press save and I got a run time error so I re-processed. Save again, and nothing in log. Had to copy and paste manually.

Regards

mmm, I tried 2.0 and 2.03 and both work fine. I'll get 2.01 and check.
Jeanl
EDIT: All OK with 2.01 as well. Blu, what the heck's going on?!

No good with 2.03, Jean. It creates the log (0 byte file). The only way to close the log window is to press log again, right?

EDIT: I can see the log in the log window but after pressing save, I get log.txt on my desktop. Nothing in it!!!

Blu, do you have another app running (maybe something that crashed?) that has a lock on that file? Can you try to save to a different file name?

Nah - just closed PgcEdit and ran it. PgcEdit wasn't even working on that DVD.

Tried saving to 2 names - same thing.

OK problem solved. Was caused by the "formatted" log. Grab version 2.04 from the web if the save log bothers you...

nwg, I was doing something non-spec with one of microsoft's functions. I'm guessing it sometimes worked and sometimes not. With the new version, it should work all the time (hopefully!).

@jeanl and all that had anything to do with MenuShrink - THANKS!
I'm new to backing up my dvd's, I just used to take out the foreign languages and then dvdshrink it to DVD5. Now with this tool, more space for shrinking. When I learn the other tools available maybe a big movie will fit on my 128mb thumb drive !

NIce work on the v2.0 user guide by u and blutach!
I had tried v1.0 on Shaun Of the Dead the other day and it came up with some error about something referenced not being there. I seen in the forums this morning that v2.0 was available and got it and tried it on Shaun and it went right through and saved me 'bout 200mb The preview thing is great!

Thanks!
