One thing I don't understand is that i cannot find imgburn as a discrete program on my HD.

The main question is how to use Flick, Nero, or some other program to burn the image I already have without having to spend another two hours to recreate it.

[And, in case I am using the terminology wrong, what I have are two folders, Audio_TS, which is empty, and Video_TS, which has filed such as VTS_01_0.VOBm etc]

Hi. Welcome to the forum!

You may need to download and install ImgBurn manually:

The Official ImgBurn Website

Then, follow one of these guides (depending on your DVD file size) to burn the Video_TS/Audio_TS folders to disc:

How to write DVD Video files directly to single layer media using ImgBurn - Guides - ImgBurn Support Forum

How to write DVD Video files directly to double layer media using ImgBurn - Guides - ImgBurn Support Forum

IMO, it's the hardware that is the culprit, not ImgBurn. But I may be wrong.
Try with a better brand of DVD-R. I suggest to use only Verbatim DVD+R. If you have still the same issue, you may need to buy another burner.

I am using Verbatim -R. I will try another burner.

My previous attempt to download imgburn was interrupted by my symantic, which had a problem with the file, quarantined and deleted it.

They are undoubtedly the best ones. If you have had problems, suspect your burner, not the media.
