I suppose,
when TestBed5_27 and 4), button size was always smaller than size of "Play All" text. It seems to be because button size becomes smaller according to font size smaller.
So I think "Compressing Text to Cell PlayAll" is needed regardless of Font size.

Sorry if incorrect.

Regards.

The Vmgm Movie selector cell computation/drawing routine is done using totally different routine(s) than the other menus.
It was the "first and only" menu I was going to do at one point
The other menus are drawn using more versatile/reusable smarter routines

And yes it should be changed -- and I guess I can't put it off any longer
I've been dreading this.

Jinjin_jp is sort of right -- The cell height/width of bottom line is hard coded -- it needs to float

Just uploaded TestBed5_29
Myriad touchups
And a completely rebuilt VMGM menu generator (Movie Selector) using VTS menu generator routines
Caught that preview highlight color didn't match the menu highlight Oops --(So thats what you meant)
reduced the number of times TW would flag about compressing text (Beep Window)
Still updating log as before
Applied transparent selection to Movie viewed in VTS root.

PS -- Noticed when using Starburst.jpg -- Spumux didn't fail even with the Softening cranked to max (2x3)
Monkey + spumux == migraine

So Now TW menu pages are done in a consistent manner

Hopefully the Major changes to VMGM are transparent to User from last testbed5_28

I've tested 2 and 6 Movie compiliations

I have already used TestBed5_29.
Although I think TestBed5_29 is excellent, ...

One TestBed a day.
I am waiting for TestBed5_30.

Tetsuro_ja -- Earlier testbed today created overlapping menus at certain # thumbs
and the pal menu were totally bollixed

I'm On a Jag

Thanks a lot.

I think 5_29pm is excellent in both button size balance and menu creating speed. Softening seems to be stable.

Although it might be out of the specification of TitleWriter, I tried to apply the MakeMenu function to 1 VTS muiti-titles authored by DVDAuthorGUI. Creation of chapter pages continued so endlessly(?) that menu creation could not be terminated.

Regards

I'm now confirmin Testbed5_29pm.

It seems to have improvement of feature. (can select number of titles in MovieMenu, Text size, speed,,,)

But
When clicking button in Movie Menu, title which has Root-Menu goes to MainMenu not to title-replay, it seems to be different from before.
And title which doesn't have Root-Menu goes to nowhere, so it can't be replayed. It seems not to be created button.

I'm going to cotinue to confirm later(night).

Regards.

Jinjin_jp
I changed the default to jump to vts root (instead of movie)
(It more closely std/commercial dvd navigation)

I do warn the user on Make Menu exit about that situation
Setting target to menu without having a Vts
(Make Menu has no idea if the user will change the Vts root menus in TW Menu Selector Gui)

(perhaps I'll toss a switch in TW >> Settings to set that default up either way on entry)
If you want movie then On Button pressed Movie >> Apply to all

Tetsuro_ja
Odd -- I assume you are refering to 1 Vts multi ttn -- no TW is designed to "eat" Squish reauthored files.
Odd though that it didn't stop. (it should have just read the info for ttn 1)
sounds minor

Tried 2x3 with softening cranked up --Weird it did it without complaint
then 10 minutes later tried the same -- it spit the error

Yes out of spec a bit

Endlessly
Minor typo bug -- Fixed in testbed but only for First ttn
TW creates Menus for VTS nn ttn 1 only
(I know but way back when TW started off as a VTS DVD_TEXT inserter)
and in 99% of the cases was fed Squish reauthored output.

No more changes for a while (Stabilizing time)-- If no new bugs in the next few days I'll drop a Release

Sorry, it's my misunderstanding. I didn't notice it is just because of default-setting. I misunderstood it as big change of feature and bug.

I think TW works well.

Thanks for TestBed5_30.

TW creates Menus for VTS nn ttn 1 only
I tried TestBed5_30 for 1 VTS 3 titles authored by DVDAuthorGUI.
TW created Menus for ttn 1 as FA said.
But this DVD compilation seems to cause playback error in some players such as Nero ShowTime because sector addresses (VMG_PTT_SRPT) of ttn 2 and ttn 3 were not corrected by TitleWriter.

Tetsuro_ja -- I never really covered that situation as I 've only supported 1ttn/vts for target menu import
Yes that would follow
Changed mind -- Even though TW added the menu you now have essentially 2 ttn that can't be reached.
If I don't fully support multi ttn I (menumaker, menueditor, happyface etc at the idiot level) I should probably stay away from it
I think I'll just trap for multi ttn and bail.

I want to try the possibility of TitleWriter variously.
Don't mind me for my selfish trial.

1) DVD compilation containing 352x240 MPEG-1 as video seems to be unable to be read by PgcPreview. PgcPreview hangs up as soon as MakeMenu icon is clicked.

2) DVD-video authored by Muxman free version -- Menus can be created by TW but SaveChanges after checking "Add Selected Menus to Compilation" fails with the following message:
VIDEO_TS.IFO Error
Table Size/End Sectors Do Not Match --Not Correctable -- Table sizes are wrong

DVD-video authored by Muxman has the following structure:
VMG, First-Play PGC
VMGM, LU 1(--), 1 (dummy) TitleM
VTSM 1, LU 1(--), 1 (dummy) RootM
VTST 1,1 TTN1 Title 1

The TW failure seems to be caused by these dummy menus.
