LiteOn ihap-122-9 can't be updated to 6L0H firmware

This correctly finds my LiteOn ihap-122-9 DVD Drive. It correctly finds that I'm using firmware 6L0F. It correctly tries to install 6L0H. It completes 100% and then just fails and says "contact your vendor". Any ideas on what's going on? |

If the firmware update is failing, try contacting LiteOn.
You're using their firmware file and it's their drive... they're the ones most qualified to troubleshoot your problem. You don't need drivers and the firmware available on Firmware HQ is the exact same one the LiteOn 'SmartPack' util will give you. Try running it in safemode or something.
