Default LiteOn IHAS324 Firmware Issue

Hi there,

I have the above drive and after using the find new firmware feature in ImageBurn decided to flash my drive with a more recent version.

I downloaded the BL1N from http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHAS324/files.html as my current version was BL1H. After the upgrade now in ImageBurn Tools > Drive is greyed out?

If I try to downgrade I either get...

Or after a bit of mucking around I can downgrade back to BL1H however the Drive tools are still greyed out in ImageBurn?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

It's greyed out when you're on the Ez-Mode picker screen... because no drive is actually active at that point.

Pick a mode and then it'll work - oh and go back to the BL1N firmware

Thanks heaps for the reply!

Ummm.... okay... I feel stupid now After selecting a mode like you suggested the Drive function is now available.

I have re-flashed to BL1N on your advice.

Previously, after reading another forum I used SmartPack to upgrade the drive and it pulled down BL1P? I haven't seen that floating around anywhere else? I can make it available if you want to take a look?

Cheers

Feel free to attach that firmware version in a post.

I have uploaded it here...

http://www.mediafire.com/?vmwtiyfkgte

It is a zipped .bin file.

I can upload it elsewhere if you have trouble downloading it.

It's been a long long time since I did it but from memory you should just be able to search for the firmware you want...

Lite-On iHAS224 B GL0A Firmware Download - Firmware HQ

Download it and run the updater.

Cheers
