Matshita SR-8176 in IBM T23 Thinkpad
Does anyone know how to get a FlashBIOS upgrade for this model ?
The currently downloadable MZ25 fix does not install, the IBM Update utility states that the firmware version is LB36. It is an RPC2 drive. Regards Mike |

I'm one step behind you - I can not even get my DVD to run due to the error "There is no Windows 2000 compatible DVD decoder installed on your system".
I have exactly the same setup as yourself. Can you help me in this regard? Thanks, Alex. |

Did you install a DVD player app ?
The free IBM player caused me some trouble during upgrade to the latest, so I switched to Power DVD I use Power DVD 4.0, that works fine. Regards Michael |
