Default synch sound in uncompressed video

I downloaded a dvd of a concert (not compressed), and the sound isn't syched with the video. This is strange to see in a .vob, an actual dvd. I've had it many times with mpeg4 stuff and I'm pretty sure that can be fixed with vdub. This, though, I don't know. Another thing is when i try to open it in N or VDUB i get the error: "MPEG import filter: pack synchronization error"
If anyone knows a program that can help me or anything else I'd be grateful for any advice.

thanks for your help.

"I downloaded a dvd of a concert"

Discussion of anything related to such activity is a violation of the rules of these forums (Rule #6, in particular)...

but it was a free download, not pirated; Nor one that you can even buy. The post for the download was on the bands website.

If that's the case, would you be good enough to post the url, so I (and others) might also download this free DVD?

sure; if you don't mind a dvd with sound that isn't in synch:

He says in his post "it’s not a "pirated" copy of a commercial product"

So if you really wanted it; there it is. Enjoy

The poster of the DVD states, "It was not recorded from the webcast or the BBC broadcast; the source was a digital satellite uplink straight from the venue."

Kinda sorta sounds like the most basic form of piracy, but I won't belabor the point...

In general, VDubMOD (DIfferent than "Standard" VDub) can handle VOBs - but the end result will be an .AVI file...
