Question Running dvd player through vcr - problems

Hello, I have a Panasonic dvd player and a Sanyo tv with no RCA outputs or inputs. So i am left to run the dvd player through the vcr and because of this, the video goes bright then dark consistantly throughout the movie. Is there a way around this? Is there an aftermarket product that I can use? Please help as I cant watch dvd's like this, it just bugs me too much. Thanks

Mark.

"the video goes bright then dark consistantly throughout the movie."

You're seeing the effects of Macrovision protection. There are many "black boxes" available on the 'Net to overcome this.

1) Read the postings in the "Macrovision" sub-forum here

2)Do a Googlesearch

Just buy an RF Modulator... $20 and you're set.

I'm afraid you'll be disappointed if you purchase a simple RF modulator, because it will yield less-than-perfect elimination of the Macrovision effect.

(But, if you're intent on trying it out, you can purchase one at Radio Shack or similar electronics shoppes...)

Hey, do you advise anything else? that blows that it wont work 100% clean, so maybe i should buy one at radio shack and just return i guess if it doesnt work as well as i would like. But if you have any other suggestions, I would very much love to hear them. Thanks
