Question-2 Can anyone recommend a good video editing program for editing divx video?

Hi, I am currently trying to cut and edit together sections of video encoded in divx which will eventually be played in a loop and I would be very grateful if anyone could recommend a relatively user-friendly program that could do this for me with decent results.

I've read about Adobe Premier/Elements, Pinnacle Studio and Virtual Dub but am not sure which would be best for this job.

Thanks.

If they're all encoded the same, then virtualdub is simple to use for this.

If the framerates and the bitrates are varied, try using "AVSVideoConverter".
