Use AEC Changer for version 7.
Then check the windows registry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ahead\Recode\Preference s]

About AEC Changer:

Sorry, but these percentage based advices for different AEC settings is utter nonsense.
It's pure fantasy of the author without any base in reality.

Under all circumstances (percentages, source quality) use
"CompressMode"=dword:00000003 = maximum sharpness

If you don't believe me (it was me who originally found these settings)
ask Cynthia.

So, there is need to use this AEC changer more than one time.
Apply maximum sharpness with this changer or by hand inside the windows registry.

That's it.

What if you don't want maximum sharpness and find that too blocky? What you say makes no sense in that case.

You should only use genuine Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Many thanks to for their supply and great service.
