Default Confusing Burn Failures with Nero 7

I've long been making photo DVDs with Nero 7; suddenly, each attempt fails. Below is the beginning & the end of the huge error log, which is too large to attach. I can still burn video DVDs with no problem, just like always - but photo DVD fails every time. I've tried to google this, fruitless. Help to resolve the issue would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks.

If you have a recent Restore Point from just before the problem that's likely the simplest solution. I used Nero 6 a long time ago. But almost always for burning SVCD if you can believe that.

The error creating COM object indicates some video rendering code. It could be corrupted, uninstalled or unregistered. Any of those 3 the Restore Point should fix it. I found this on MS site but it's kind of nebulous:

Video Mixing Renderer Filter 9 (Windows)
