how do i update my firmware??
do i have to delete the old frimware??
is so, where is it located??

i have a dell desktop with windows xp.

You don't delete the old firmware - it is located in your drive!

1. Take disc out of drive (if there is one in it).
2. Turn off all drive utilities
3. Download the firmware (usually an EXE file)
4. Read the readme in it
5. Run the firmware
6. Reboot.
