Firmware Update Liteon SOHW1613s

Hi,

Is there a Firmware update for the liteon SOHW 1613s? I have been using Verbatim 8x +Rs MCC 003 media id and have had no problems but, (there is always a but) I recently purchased a cake box of Ridata 8x +Rs Ritek R03s media id. The ridata discs either will not burn video or data or if they do nothing can read em. I also have a liteon LVW-5101 recorder that I record from my TIVO with, the ridata discs work fine with it. I can post the complete media info from DVDinfopro if that will help

Can't find any official firmware for that burner - there is some hacked firmware on this page and also a discussion on crossflashing the drive.

I wasn't sure if it was safe to flash my 1613s with the 1633s firmware but, I figured WTH worse thing that could happen would be that I would mess up my burner. It took the flash and my problem with the ridata dvds is resolved.
