I know! 'IF' they have those octogon spacers. I was just at the Best Buys closest to my home and they had only the Made in Taiwan DVD+Rs!!

They did have Made In Japan DVD-Rs with the octogon spacers, but I'm not a fan of -R media. Oh Well, I'll check the next closest ones.

And thanks Soup, for the info.
I only buy Sonys with those octogon spacers and Made in Japan and have been only getting TYs since I started buying Sony Media.
Had always only got Verbatims before, but just started to get some of those TYs recently.

anyone finding any fuji TY dvd's please post, they have been long gone for quite some time

only thing I have seen lately worth buying in single layer at B&M stores seems to be verbatim

lot of wild goose chases otherwise

maybe this thread needs to go to off topic?

edit: the fuji disks are cd-r's, 50 for 7$ and reported to be TY(look for made in japan)

Got those CD-Rs from BestBuys and they were MIJs.
Haven't it yet but just seeing MIJ gave me some peace of mind.
