Default Unknown disc

I copied a programme from my Humax Freesat box to a USB memory stick. I then burnt a DVD+RW from the USB stick. The burnt DVD will play on my Dell computer but when I try to play on my LG DVD player or my TV/DVD combi I get the message "Unknown Disc".

What am I doing wrong?

Perhaps your DVD player needs the video to be in DVD Video (a VIDEO_TS folder) compliant way.

The disc shows type of file as "MPEG-2TS video (.ts)

Does this throw any light on my problem?

Look in the manual of your players if they play .ts files.
