How to get around CD song protection?

Hiyaz, I dunno if I can post this here, but I figured this would be the best spot to post it. Anyways, my question is, I just bought a new 200$ MP3 player, and I went to add some .wma files to it, and it won't let me play them. Now I know that my MP3 player can sure as hell play .wma's, the problem is that there is some kind of protection on the song that seems to have been taken when I coppied the CD to my hard drive. Does anyone know a way around this, or how I can get rid of this protection? Thankx
