Problems w/ Sonic MyDVD 3.51

I am having some serious issues using Sonic MyDVD v.3.51. It hangs all the time when trying to write a DVD, usually in the "transcoding audio" step. I have tried to contact Sonic, and they have not been able to help me.

Also, sometimes the program abends for no apparent reason when I am re-naming chapters. Very frustrating.

My system:

AMD Athlon 2600
512MB 333mHz ram
fast SCSI hard drive
Pioneer DVR-104

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nero Burrner is what you need

Nero Burnner i would recommened to anyone it does a lot of the convertions and a lot of the burnning that you would like to do.

You can try it out before you buy it so hopefully it works for you.

Don't even try to burn with a Sonic product. Tell it to write a DVD Folder to disk, and then burn that with Nero.

I tried that but the DVD is then not recognizable by any of my players (Apex, Toshiba, both are fairly new). If I use Sonic to burn it, it is recognizable as a video DVD. I used Roxio ez CD creator 5 to burn it with no luck. What am I missing?

Do you have a software player like Cyberlink's PowerDVD that can play the folder that DVDit writes? Make sure that can play the folder before you burn with Nero.
