    virtualdub with Panasonic DVCodec

Hi, I'm trying to crop a video compressed with Panasonic's DVCodec, but unfortunately I cannot even preview the avi, I get the following error: "VideoSourceAVI error: The source image format is not acceptable. (error code -2)"

The file is 800MB and I can only get 700MB cds in my area...
Any help would be greatly appreciated

a tool named gspot might tell you which filter is being used for rendering

and mainconcept or canopus dv codecs might help
