DVD subtitles problem

Someone help me !

i have 2 CDs with the latest movie of The Lord Of The Rings
and in each cd there are 2 *.srt files with the subtitles.One file per CD.The movie is in Xvid and i play it with MicroDVD player but i don't know how to get the subtitles in it !
The player doesn't show them !
