WinDVD bookmark transfer
I just upgraded from WinDVD Platinum 4.5.11.26 to 5.0.26.7, and I was wondering if there was any way I could import the bookmarks made with the old program. If I try to use version 5's bookmark import function, I get the error message "This bookmark file is not for this title." If I just copy the bookmarks from the old directory to the new, when the bookmark browser is opened, the program appears to read the bookmark file, but the browser window fills with garbage, and clicking on the garbage thumbnails or descriptions does nothing.
Obviously, there has been a change in the browser file format. Does anyone know of a utility to convert old files to new? Or at least some information about the change in file format so that I can determine whether I could write such a utility myself? Otherwise, a lot of loyal customers are looking at a great deal of gruntwork, as a "benefit" of upgrading.
