Difference in quality with use of several passes?

Hi there!

Just a simple question ive been wondering on.

Will i notice much difference in quality if i use 3 or 4 passes instead of just 2? I usually encode a 1h60min movie to 2x700mb pieces with Guardian Knot. Will i notice much difference in quality if i have several passes?

No. The difference isn't noticeable.

In the 1st pass the movie is analysed entirely in all details, the "update log file" in the nth pass is almost useless...
Be sure to use exactly the same parameters (bitrate, resolution, filters) in the two passes
