Help joinning rm files

I am having problems trying to join rm files and have tried using Easy Video Joiner and avi/mpeg/rm/wmv joiner. With easy, which works with all other file types, I get the following message: "Access violation at address 662CABBE in module 'rmto3260.dll'". Avi/mp...joiner worked as a demo, but not since tried it with a serial number. It gets the correct file, size and the output, but it does not join. The individual files play.

I use xp and have reinstalled both programs along with real player and k-lite codec.

Suggestions, another program ???
