Dvd2avi Can't Open Movie Green Window Instead

    Hi guys ..

Well I am having a BIG problem here . I am trying to convert a dvd (witch contains 11 hours of video low quality but works fine) using gordian knot. I have ripped the dvd using dvd dycrpter in the iso mode mounted the image and then when i tried to open the files in dvd2avi 1.77.3dg1.0.0rc2 it just shows a green window instead of the movie and when i press f5 for preview i get a message form windows xp saying that dvd2avi incountred a problem and should be close. what can i do about it

Thanx a lot and sorry for the long post.

Try using DVD Decrypter to "Rip" in "File" mode NOT "ISO" mode, then try to open in DVD2AVI and see if it opens OK.

why did you DEMUX the streams?

converting the vobs to divx shouldnt be a problem

yes but the question is what can i do with these m2v files and how to create d2v files so i can use them in gordian knot for examples. Is there another format that gordian knot can understand ???

                      Thanx
