    'statsfile not found' :(

    while trying 2pass encoding with the latest Xvid binary and the settings found at http://www.divx-digest.com/articles/xvid_setup.html , virtual dub gives me an arror 'statsfile not found' and it wont go. if someone knows possibly what im doing wrong and/or what can be done to fix this, please let me know asap thanks!

    Good evening,

    Take your time to make a small reading of the guide proposed by this site.
    And will be able to find the key of your problem.

    Looks that's:

    " Here, you can specify a filename of the stats file that will be generated in the first pass to record the necessary information. This filename must be the same as what you would specify for the second pass " (Source Xvid guide digital digest).


    In fact, you must to specify the place of the stats lines in Twopass - 1st pass.
    For example: FILM.statsfiles
    And then at the time of the second passage, select FILM.statsfiles.

    That's all.

      Don't forget that this post bill only of the DivX codec.
