Can Slide Show be put on DVD?

What hardware and software do I need to produce a still photo slide show for viewing on a TV with a DVD Player without hooking up my computer to the TV.

I got some software from Dazzle that does just this, haven't tried it but it claims to put digital photos in a slideshow on a VCD for use in a DVD. Assuming your DVD player will play VCD's on CDR's or CDRW's.

Mine came with a SmartMedia Reader for $19.

Or, a much more robust product... (and already available) Dazzle DVD Complete.

Since you can add menus and chapters(categories) with this, you can organize all your whole photo collection on one DVD. I think a DVD will hold something like 1800+ photos at 5 seconds per photo display time. Or you can use a CD-R/RW for fewer photos.

        Why not try Photo2VCD Professional?
