    help with buying external hard drive

    Are there any reiable large(200GB UPWARDS) external hard drives on the market and is an external hard drive capable of storing -R and +R formats at the same time, also websites and sources to obtain one at a good price would be extremely helpfull. Thanks to all you wizzards out there.

    Get a LaCie HDD - I have had many, and they are always reliable. www.lacie.com/uk The D2 range is a lot more solid and robust than the Porche range, but I guess it depends on your budget.

    On a HDD the DVD Video is stored as a DVD Video. It has no impact on + or - R as these are DVD disk types, and not some sort of special DVD format. If you wish to burn them off later you will have no issues, just remember to keep all of the DVD Videos in seperate folders.

        Y0u were right nzjacob, there are some fat hard drives and hardware on that site, a TERABITE hard drive, just added a new word to my vocabulary? But as you say, price is an option
