OK. Read the Golden Rules of Burning in my signature. Burn slower. And, those Prodiscs have a bit of a mixed reputation.

EDIT: Nomally this error indicates update Nero and firmware (see here). But you have!

So, here's a better idea. Burn with DVD Decrypter. From DVD Shrink, click Backup --> Select backup target --> ISO image file and burn with DVD Decrypter

But first, run one in TEST mode. You will see that check box on the main DVD Decrypter write mode screen.

You should only use genuine Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Many thanks to www.pcx.com.au for their supply and great service.

Answered in your other thread here.

It makes it a lot easier if there's only one thread for each problem.

Thread merged and also moved to the burning section. It don't relates to DVD Decrypter.

Best Info Yet, Now I see my problem

Thanks indeed, now since I have learned why I have so many problems, which burner do I need to replace the BTC with? these are my negatives with using this burner and no one recommends this one.

                    Negative:

                    * Retail package do not include any printed documentation, and documentation on CD is hard to find and contains little information
                    * Retail package do not include any media
                    * Reads DVD-Video discs at 6x speed only.
                    * Slow at reading all types of rewritable media (CD-RW, DVD-RW and DVD+RW)
                    * Unable to write credit card CD-R discs.
                    * Less than 40% of the disc is written at 8x making it the slowest 8x writer we know of.
                    * DVD-Writing quality, especially at 8x speed needs serious improvements.
                    * Low writing quality with most Re-Writable media (CD-RW, DVD-RW and DVD+RW)
                    * Almost no 4x media is supported at 8x speed
                    * DVD-Media compatibility could be improved.
                    * Doesn’t support bitsetting (It did support bitsetting with earlier firmware versions, but it’s removed in newer firmware versions).
                    * BTC firmware update program is problematic.
                    * BTC bitsetting program do not work on all computer configurations.
                    * Does not support Mt. Rainier.
                    * Can’t extract the content of cactus data shield protected audio discs.

I seem to be partial to LiteOns 'cause of all the support by the codeguys and their fw's and great tools. They do PI and PIF scans too. You can get a LiteOn 16x 1693s from newegg here for $39.99 delivered + tax or at buy.com here for $24.99 if you qualify for their credit card and get a $30 credit. I got mine from buy.com and it came with Power DVD5 and Nero OEM 6
