    AutoQmat with DVD-RB

    Has anyone tried using AutoQmat with Rebuilder ???

    If yes, how the quality and speed compared to HC Enc and CCE ???

    The QmatOp - Matrix optimizer feature looks interesting.

      Its a good encoder, but expect a long wait. I think the average could be as much as 3 times as long for an encode. Works great with DVD-RB.

        Okay we now know about the speed but what in your personal opinion gives good quality out of the bunch ????

          I really liked AutoQmat I tried it for the first time today here are my results
          with 3pass cant remember my settings I think it was Asharp,RemoveGrainSSE2 and Deen.To answer your other question so far its been faster then HC as for CCE I can't answer that because I have never used it

                  you need tohave the line:
                  CCEAQM=1
                  added to the rebuilder .ini

                  if it is already present, see if the extension .ini is spelled with capital letters - if so corrrect it to small ones

                    I did add CCEAQM=1 I cant understand why it worked before and not now but who knows maybe it showed up first time I used it and I never noticed it because it will run even if QMatOp isn't enabled But I will give your second option a go Thanks UncasMS.Maybe AutoQmat can be made to work in an up coming update for both free and pay Rebuilder I hate messing with stuff like this I never feel comfortable doing it

                      As far as I remember, I saw SAPSTAR writing in one of the forums that the CCEAQM=1 parameter does not work with the DVD rebuilder free version, unless it was an old post and the versions have changed after that.

                          maybe it's true that autoqmatenc wont work with the freeware version but i definitely had the very same problem with the pro version when i tested it so pls dont give up too easily

                          (and yes, you should have gone pro ^_~)

                            You got it wrong UncasMS, AutoQmatenc works fine with DVD-RB free but its QmatOP technology (activated using CCEAQM=1) does not work with DVD-RB free.

                              So it can run fine without QmatOP ?
