I dont know how big the iso's are, Avi2Dvd does'nt seem to have created iso files in the temp folder, it has created an "AVISYNTH FILE" , a "AUDIOSTREAM1 MP32CH" file, a"PULLDOWN VIDEO"file, and a "beesweet audiostream mp3" file ? No ISO. This is what it says in the log window :

      "[10:21:40] AVI2DVD Started !

      I'm using a single-layer 4.7 G DVD-R, I guess its DVD 5?

I've actually read that thread and followed it step by step, I've never had this problem before.

Right, I got the Avi2Dvd working, so back to my original question,CAN I BURN TWO ISO FILES ONTO ONE DISC WITH IMAGEBURN? The files average 1.5 gigs, so there should be plenty of room on the disc which is 4.7 gigs. Anybody know how to do it?

Add the two ISO images together with DVD Shrink to create one ISO for burning with Imgburn. I don't think you can do multiple ISO's for one burn with Imgburn.

                Just some friendly advice:
When you use ALL CAPILTAL LETTERS it appears that you are shouting at people and people won’t respond well to that.
I understand you may be frustrated, but you have to clam down. There are a lot of people that will help just relax. People in this forum don’t get paid to answer questions and offer help we all do this out of the kindness of our hearts so please be nice. You will be amazed at how much help you will get.

                  Happy Easter
Angel 2004, happy Easter to you too. Why is it whenever you put anything in capitals you always get the obligitory "calm down" and "friendly advice" replies? I simply put the original question in caps to highlight it and get back on track.I'd like to think we are all adults here, and I am on a lot of other forums (different interests) and it always amazes me the amount of people that get there feathers all ruffled up when they see a few capital letters. And I think what ruffles my feathers the most is the tone of the message offering advice.Angel, I'm 39 not 12.There was no offence intended but if something like a line in capital letters upsets you, I apologise.I just wonder if the whole post was in lower case would you have chimed in with some advise or just moved on?

Now back to the original question. If anybody took offence with the capital letters I apologise, I was simply trying to get the thread back on track.I know nobdy gets paid for offering advice, so I will be greatful for any help at all.

Chewy, thanks for the answer.I'm not familiar with dvd shrink, how does it work? Do I just add the 2 iso files from the Avi2Dvd temp files? When I first started using Avi2Dvd there used to be files named "ISO", but now there are only files called "DVD image".Are these the same as "ISO" files? Also, I'm presuming its called dvd shrink because it shrinks the files. Is there any loss of quality with the process?

                      Thanks

in ben's guide under the DVD_Image it says iso file

under file in shrink, use the open image, see how big shrink analyzes it to be.
if a single image is already 4 gigs, then forget 2 of them, frivulous exercise

If you are putting two ISO's that are 1.5 gigs each onto one disc you will need no compression, so there shouldn't be any loss of quality...

Can I put 2 45 minutes avi files converted to iso files on to a 120 minute dvd-r disc?
The files average 1.5 gigs, so there should be plenty of room on the disc which is 4.7 gigs.
If you only have the two files you will get no where near filling the disc completely...when putting movies on a DVD you should be more concerned with how big the file is rather than how long the file is.

Ok Chewy, I've downloaded Dvd shrink. I still have to convert with Avi2Dvd, right? Dvd shrink doe'st convert the Avi files as well as shrink them?
