.ogm files? with .ogg audio? virtualdubMOD is your first step.

download ogmtools http://corecodec.org/projects/ogmtools and use ogmdemuxer to extract streams. you'll end up with an avi file and likely an ogg file for audio.

use besweet + belight to encode ogg to wav.

you can now follow one of the excellent avi to dvd guides at this forum http://forum.digital-digest.com/search.php

ogg is just a container and it can contain video as well as audio. You are right though, they probably do mean ogm.

Most people think ogg == vorbis since that is the most common use of ogg. Most people also think that ogg == ogm. This is not the case. ogm is basically a hack/extension to ogg to allow non Xiph streams to be stored. Basically anything that can be encoded via VfW can be stored in ogm. It can also store non Xiph audio such as mp3, AC3, DTS or aac.

yeah what i do is simply demux the ogg audio stream with vdubmod and convert to what i want with besweet or dgpoweramp. then, recompress with xvid as a silent avi. then of course i shove these two into TMPGEnc>TDA. just my prefered method
