    Power Director Problems - Newbie

I am a newbie in the Video editing area. I tried OEM WinDVD but had tech. issues in formats. So, I purchase Power Director 5.

I spent hours recreating my project which is 1.2 hours of pictures, video, etc.

I made a successful burn of the project as a test and then I went back and added translation and title effects. Now every time I try and create a disc, the rendering component always crashes at the same point with Error 80004005.

This occurs regardless whether I select the Burn Disc... Create DVD Folder or both.

Tech support has tried to help but it was a lot of "Disable other programs" "Install this patch" but nothing helped.

    Can anyone help with this?

    Second question.
In WinDVD, once I created a DVD folder, I could load that folder back into the program to rip new discs without rerendering. In PowerDiector 5, you can create the DVD folder but it does not look like you can reload it to just burn more discs... you have to rerender which to me means "What is the point of making a DVD Folder if the program will not use it?"

    Thanks again

I have just got this program myself and am having problems. I just keep asking the support guys, if they dont give an answer that works, tell them so and ask again. But if you are anything like me, its just a matter of finding your way around the program, sounds like you have managed more than I have. But maybe this review might help, at least as to CPD 5s capabilities
