Well Royce Gracie got destroyed by Matt Hughes. Gracie is obviously past his prime, I was pulling for him though. Referee stopped it at 4 mins in the first round due to multiple-undefended strikes from Hughes.

Gracie is still a legend in my book.

I used to watch UFC a lot I always enjoyed watching Royce Gracie the guy is smart and very very discipline. I liked Matt Lindland and Ken Shamrock also

They feel it's to violent but you can catch it on PPV I find that to be stupid you can pay to see the violence and know one has a problem but put it on TV for free and the goodie goodies come out of the wood work and say stop it plus any one can rent them at the local video store

I was pulling for Hughes too, Gracie was a pioneer of the sport...the sad thing is that they are relatively the same age.

I've been watching alot of PrideFC too, I love the diversity of the Japanese fights. They also play reruns of this on Fox Sports South.

ufc is well worth watching...very exciting..at times...once you get to know more about it the times when they are on the ground becomes almost more exciting then when they are beating on each other...'when in doubt, choke 'em out.'

I also do watch some PrideFC as well. That guy Sakuraba and Vanderlai Silva seem the toughest.
MMA has evolved into a fun 'spectator' sport and these guys are probably not who you'd want to get into an alley fight with.


Not sure if they stand a chance against a 'wookie' though.
