Nero 7 recode question - Burn options

What is better to use? Advanced analysis or High quality mode (slow recording) Or can they be used at the same time?

By the way this is my first post in this forum and I just want to say hey. HEY!

they can be use at the same time and they should be use at the same time. the process takes longer(sometimes, much longer)when you use them but the picture quality, when viewing the backup in a large screen TV, is much better. i use both Recode2 and shrink and i always have those options checked.

It is not necessary to use those options for every project, but more a matter of personal preference. As elizarrojas states they can be used together and typically are used at the same time, however I only use them when my compression ratio drops below 80%...this is my comfort zone, you should experiment to find your own.

Oh and what burn speed is best to use? I use the lowest I have which is 6x. Thanks.

A normal rule of thumb is half the rated speed of the blank disc but again experimenting & checking your burns with something like Nero CDDVD speed will help you get to the right speed. Check out this thread in blank media & burning on CDDVD Speed.
