I have been trying 2 get into my registry and it wont open just gives this message. Not sure whats up. I have never encountered this problem with registry before, feel really stupid asking whats up.

@benbryant, no go. Went and downloaded and installed the patch and restarted computer. Got the same error. Thank u 4 ur help I really appreciate it.

2. windows very corrupt

try booting into safe mode and do syware and trojan scans

does msconfig work?

task manager 3 finger salute?

@chewy msconfig works fine. Ran avast in safe mode showed nothing wrong.
