jumpy video when I use recode

I have made a home movie in windows movie maker, then I saved it. I took it to nero recode and converted it to nero digital but the video is really jumpy like its buffering from a web site. Is there any way that i can fix the jumpy video before burning to dvd????? someone plz let me know! oh yeah the audio on the finished product is perfect its just the video that gets all wacky-do.

What was the file output type from nero? Movie Maker is picky about what files it will accept or play correcty. I gave up on MM and tried
Womble's Mpeg Video Wizard DVD. http://www.womble.com It is more flexible than MM with more functions, and it burns DVDs. It is 30-day trialware you can try out. I'm pretty pleased with it except it has incomplete help files ... that I got around by experimenting.
