TMPGEnc DVD Author v2 won't read project created by v1.6 (tda/tda2 incompatible)

Is it possible to convert tda to tda2 as required by TMPGEng DVD Author v2? I have a project in tda format but v2 won't read it. Is there any workaround? Thanks!

not that i'm aware. this was a tedious project i assume? otherwise since you must have the files that created the .tda file, you might as well just delete it and create the project again in dvd author 2.

It's a pretty big project unfortunately. Looks like I'm stuck with v1.6 for now or start all over again with v2.

Is DVD Author v3 backward compatible with tda2? Now I have to think twice before upgrading...

BTW, how come v2 seems to run much faster on my old PC (P4 1.8, 256Mb RAM, XP) than v1.6?

      Thanks!

doubt the tda files will work. ver 2 is supposed to be "optimized" so it should be a little faster. as for v3, make sure you meet the requirements (see the website)
