How to Play VOB or IFO Video

Hello,

Please excuse me if I am in the wrong place - I did try to search to see if info is avail on this subject.

My first issue is when I backup DVD to C drive. I want to play the movie, but my computer doesn't recognize the files. I believe there is software for this. Can someone tell me what is good to use? What do I need to do?

Also, I want to convert my movie file (vob and ifo files) into a video format readable by iTunes Movie. My goal is to see if I can get it to play on my iPod. If so, I may consider purchasing an iTV as I would expect it could play there as well. Can anyone tell me how I may start to do this?

I use MPC or VLC for my computer playback.

Try SUPER for converting to ipod, all free programs.
