Help please, an error in Simple Divx?

Hi,

First time using Simple Divx to convert from DVD to XviD to see how the program works and i got a memory error. It says this.


The instruction at "0x01158bfc referenced memory at "0x01185450". The memory could not be read".

Click on OK to terminate the program.

Does that mean my memory is shot? I just got this PC. How can it be shot? It is brand new. PLEASE help me!!!

I had used Simple DivX for some time a while back.But found it to be too buggy to continue.Since then have decided to stick to AutoGK,VirtualdubMPEG2 and AVIDemux.
