Is Blu-ray possible on XP MCE?

Hi all

I want to add a blu-ray drive to my XP MCE machine and I'm wondering if there are software decoders available for blu-ray that will work with Win XP MCE 2005? I like to use the MCE interface, not a standalone program.

I know powerdvd ultra plays blu-ray but I don't know if its decoder will work in MCE or if any alternatives exist...

The problem is with copy protection, and the fact that DirectShow decoders are not ready enough for playback outside of PowerDVD Ultra just yet. Even PowerDVD Ultra is not perfect, as it does not output HD audio in bitstream mode for decoding on your receiver (not surprising, since this requires HDMI audio output and there's no hardware for that yet). There is progress being made on this front all the time (although if Blu-ray wins, and BD+ prevails, all this progress may be for nothing), so check out forum.doom9.org for more information.
