    Help: Power Calibration Error

    Hi! I've successfully recorded DL media before, but have already wasted 3 discs with the following error...
    Would apreciate any help. I've already tried searching for more recent firmwares, but can't find any firmwares for my drive.

    It could be that your drive needs a firmware update, or the drive is flying south, or the media is low grade or bad.

      I am not finding a firmware update either. I am guess your computer is the flavor of Dell, HP, etc.

      In that case the updates are left with the computer manufacturer in many occurrences.

      Unfortunately that is not always a good thing

      Disc ID: CMC MAG-D03-64
      Always use Verbatim DVD+R DL Media. This will account for most burn errors if you don't
