I've got a how to problem.

First allow me to apologize if this has been posted before. I need to replace my 3d video card. Problem is, I don't know if I need PCI, PCI-E, or AGP. How can I find out which one I need?

Do you know the name/model # of your motherboard?

      download, install and run CPU-Z

in its tab: "mainboard" it will not only tell you name and model of your mainboard but at the bottom you will also find: "graphic interface" which should answer your question
